Satelit Design Gallery
In 2025, Satelit Design Gallery underwent a significant transformation, becoming a modern space with a wide range of new functions. In September 2025, we opened a new Design Museum exhibition in the renovated premises, and also established the Design Club—an open space for the design community as well as for everyone interested in design.
We are creating a vibrant centre open to all, where there will always be something to see, experience, and discover.

Satelit Design Gallery history
For many years, Satelit Design Gallery served as an exhibition space dedicated to presenting all fields of design, while also functioning as a contact and educational point for those seeking information about design. Satelit’s programme primarily consisted of exhibitions of current design practice and production, including student design, presentations of important findings from research into the history of Slovak design, as well as exchange exhibitions from abroad.
The space also regularly hosted individual exhibition and research projects. More information about the individual exhibitions can be found further down on this page.
