NCD 2023
The National Design Award celebrated its 30th anniversary. Our idea was to honour designers, and design. We present the visual campaign for the celebrations NCD 2023 as a birthday party. The central element of the identity we use in the visuals is the industrial connecting material PUR foam, which serves as a parallel to whipped cream decoration. We were intrigued by the similarities and properties of both materials. In the identity, we combine elements of connection, creating unexpected spatial objects and viviparous planar shapes. Photographic stagings by photographer Jakub Tering, used in the campaign, represented Tereza Maco, Aurélia Garová, and Jozef Sklenka in the position of performative well-wishers. The exhibition architecture was prepared by Peter Liška.
