Labels for the Bažalik winery

The packaging design for the Bažalik winery is the result of a long-term and fruitful collaboration with the winemaker Michal Bažalik, who is dedicated to the sustainable and gentle production of wine. The wine labels for the 2022 and 2023 vintages are inspired by organic shapes and blending flavors. The abstract motifs that the labels depict were created using the analog technique of paper marbling, which is an archaic way of pressing colors against the water surface (which in the past was mainly used in book design – book covers). The marbled structures are further processed and moved to their current form with enhanced digital embossing that creates an unmistakable haptic.
