A Collection of Experiential Poetry
This book merges literature and visual art to find the answer to a particular questions: What could contemporary poetry really look like? Erik Šimšík’s collection of experiential poetry opens new horizons by integrating text with colors, collages, and original illustrations, creating a kind of multimedia game. The graphics feature allusions to pop culture, art, and current social issues, presented through a marker aesthetic reminiscent of the block of flats where the author grew up. The publication’s unique sketchbook format is bound at the top, with pages turned from bottom to top, and is available in two color variants: yellow and light purple.
