Days of Architecture and Design 2023
The visual identity of the most significant festival of architecture and design in Slovakia took place within the reconstructed phenomenal brutalist architecture of the Slovak National Gallery. The visual was designed to be in perfect harmony with the aesthetics of this remarkable brutalist masterpiece. The main visual element of the visual communication is a specific red structural framework, which we have redrawn in real proportion. If you look closely, you may also spot the abbreviation of the festival’s name, DAAD, hidden within it. Created in harmonious collaboration: Matúš Buranovský & Daniel Šmíra.
