WE ARE HERE.
The visualization for the WE ARE HERE. initiative was created through collaboration between the Typolab studio at the Department of Visual Communication of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava and the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic. The aim was to develop a sensitive yet powerful visual narrative to support the campaign against gender-based violence. The Typolab studio’s design was selected as the winning concept among four proposals. It features orange, the color associated with the fight against gender-based violence, and the strong, straightforward slogan “We are here”. The orange dot is a subtle element, but its simplicity allows it to be used across various media—not only as a supporting identity element but also as a symbol of solidarity, whether as a badge at protests or an emoji on social networks.
