Filip Blažek is a graphic designer. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague in 2000. He is mainly interested in typeface and typography and likes to lecture on these topics. He is the author of the successful handbook “Typokniha” and co-author of the documentary series “Identity – the story of Czech graphic design”. He was a founder and member of the editorial board of Typo magazine and the 365typo project. He is a member of the international organization ATypI and a founding member of the Union of Graphic Design. He works in his own studio Designiq, which he founded in 1997. Since then, he has collaborated with a range of talented professionals and regularly teaches at UMPRUM and at the ARCHIP college.
