Jana Hojstričová and Palo Macho: Permanent Risk (from a series of collaborations)
The viewer experiences the installation by a photographer and glassblower from two perspectives: one from below, amidst the remnants of illusion, and one from above, where a red thread on the shelves illustrates the narrative’s inner connections and central themes. These glass paintings and photographs highlight the value of constants. The “constant” threads may help us navigate back to the exit or find a way out of the labyrinth we often find ourselves in, sometimes through no fault of our own. Reflecting on the destruction below might offer reassurance that the danger has passed. This unique installation, overseen by designer Marcel Benčík, was displayed at the Synagoga Gallery in Prague (curated by Peter Michalovič) and the Danubiana Gallery in Bratislava (curated by Katarína Bajcurová).
