“Print Something to Wear” 3D Clothing Artifact

ANDREA VONKOMEROVÁ
Andrea Vonkomerová- main designer

3D printing is a technology with immense potential, offering numerous advantages and expected to transform manufacturing. I experiment with geometric patterns, i.e., repeating triangles, squares, and star-shaped forms, which I apply to tulle using a 3D printer. By combining a soft, transparent base with rigid plastic layers, I create organic structures with a variable character. In motion, they gently crumple and respond to light and shadow, forming a new, corporeal shell.\nThe construction is minimalist; the shaping of the garment emerges directly from the material’s properties. Thanks to 3D printing, the garments have simple silhouettes, with form growing naturally from the technology. The collection is complemented by skirts and a neoprene top, shaped like balls composed of pentagons and hexagons, which complete a unified, organic aesthetic.
