A Collection of Toys for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Focusing on the Use of Recycled Materials and Eco-Plastics

In the European Union, more than three million people are affected by autism. With well-designed toys and aids, their situation can improve dramatically. I focused on two aspects: helping children develop the necessary skills within their differences, allowing them to play and do things that they enjoy, and helping them understand the world. I designed the objects in a way that would also be suitable for other children.\nAnother aspect is developing children’s emotional side. I want to teach them to recognize the value of old and damaged things and to offer the soft touch of a fabric that has been used for years. Accessories can easily be added or sewn onto a textile toy, making it an even more unique part of a child’s world. My collection includes toys that children can modify according to their ideas. The soft nests are hideouts that children seek.
