Filip Tofil

Designer, researcher, coordinator, and initiator of activities related to visual culture, Filip Tofil, comes from Warsaw. In 2008, he founded the design studio Syfon Studio. He is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he completed his master’s degree in 2011. He focuses primarily on projects that connect public space and ethics in design—Re-design 3, PLAKATATAK. He has frequently applied his expertise as a juror in design competitions such as Graduation Projects, EBGE, and others. Tofil is a recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding artistic achievements, as well as the 2018 Young Poland scholarship. His awarded projects include poster, publication, and packaging designs, as well as visual identities for various initiatives.
