Oto Hudec – Floating Arboretum

Yet, its design subtly addresses crucial environmental issues and activism aimed at protecting endangered trees. Hudec’s artistic influence extends to the typography, with the headline custom typeface Oto Hand being the digitization of his handwriting. The text seems vivid and authentic, just as the individual stories of endangered trees are authentic. For longer texts, the neutral Oto Sans typeface, also custom-made for the project, is used. The catalog’s format and scope are designed with sustainability in mind, optimizing the use of printed sheets and minimizing waste.
