Transformer

The fashion collection “Transformer” is designed with functional, therapeutic details, such as straps, soft elements, cushions, and large padded garment objects that evoke armor or turtle shells. I bring forth the idea of protecting our vulnerable bodies. An interesting moment comes from the shift of knitted material, formed into cavities, towards macramé or weaving techniques, which appear as soft protective structures. The collection transcends the strict utilitarian function of clothing and moves towards experimentation. These protective “shells” are complemented by close-fitting, comfortable pieces such as sheath dresses, trousers, and tops. The selected knit structure and the material composition of cotton, linen, and wool enhance comfort and the wearing experience.
