ARMY coat from the /si:/ collection

The unisex long coat ARMY in yellow is the creation of textile and fashion designer Michaela Bednárová operating under her own brand Puojd, which she founded in 2008. Her work focuses mainly on designing textile patterns, clothing collections and textile accessories. She also creates tailor-made designs for various companies or state institutions. The ARMY coat was designed in 2023 as part of a new fashion collection /si:/, suggesting a combination of two English words: „sea“ and „see.“According to her, the /si:/ collection is a game. A game with material, with pattern, with shape. It is a celebration of summer, of the sun, a love for the sea, and hints at the new direction for the brand. The fabric with original print was produced in an Italian company with a long tradition of jacquard weaving and silk printing, and the models themselves were sewn in a Slovak professional tailor’s workshop. As typical for Puojd garments, the cut of this jacket with shirt elements is designed in a one-size-fits-all and unisex style, so that it can adapt to a wide range of body shapes and can be combined endlessly. Made from a combination of viscose, silk and lurex, the ARMY coat has practical pockets and a belt that can be re-tied, is fully lined and suitable for wearing in the transitional autumn and spring seasons.
