The project connects architecture, textiles, and the cultural heritage of northern Orava into a contemporary artistic language. Inspired by local traditions, Vaterková transforms them into original textiles with a unique identity. These pieces are not just garments but carriers of memory, dialogue, and intergenerational connection. Sustainability goes beyond the use of local materials; it creates a lasting community legacy. The work invites creative dialogue and demonstrates how design can preserve and evolve cultural identity in a contemporary context.
