Edge
EDGE is a collection of glass objects developed through long-term research into blowing glass into square metal forms. The work is based on archetypal vessel forms that are deliberately subjected to geometrization. They are transformed into polygonal objects with precisely defined surfaces and edges. A key principle is the division of the outer line, the search for new proportions, and the disruption of axial symmetry. Every shift, edge, and break is a deliberate intervention in the form, based on proportional systems and the golden section. The vases are made using recycled metal molds that leave a subtle relief on the surface of the glass, a structural imprint of the mold elevated to decoration.
