BLUE
BLUE is an experimental series of crystal-glass vases that explores the interaction of light, pigment, and liquid. Although the glass itself is colorless, the objects change color with the light spectrum, creating an illusory effect. Inspired by the Japanese philosophies of wabi-sabi and mono-no-aware, the project reflects on beauty in impermanence and imperfection. The shapes echo bioluminescent sea life, with glowing effects achieved through phosphorescent pigment. Each vase consists of two rotational glass forms enclosing a liquid-filled cavity, combining aesthetics and function. It has a therapeutic, harmonizing effect and serves as an orienting point in the dark.
