Workshops in Satellite / Slovak Design Award 2023

From Friday, November 3, 2023, accompanying workshops for the National Design Award 2023 will start in the Satelit Design Gallery. Which one?

Friday, November 3, 2023, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. COSTUME-MAKING with Zuzka Nemcová and Vojt Daubner (from 16 years old). How to design a costume, mask or prop? Get acquainted with 3D modeling in Blender, TinkerCade, create a costume on the spot or prepare your own base for 3D printing.

Saturday 4/11/2023, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM LIGHTING WITH ARDUINO with Miro Močko (from 18 years old). How to be ecological using a microprocessor? Improve your home with LEDs and motion sensors, and try to reduce your electricity consumption.

Sunday, November 5, 2023, 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. PIXEL ART with Zuzka Nemcová (10-16 years old). How to transform a graphic template into pixel art and apply it to a t-shirt? Come to the workshop and take home a t-shirt with your own design.

Monday, November 6, 2023, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. LITTLE DESIGNER, Children in shape with Veronika Muchová (6-10 years old). How to create your own experimental jewelry? Get to know interesting procedures and with our help you will create a unique design piece.

All workshops have a limited number of participants of 10, so please register at programy@scd.sk, write in the subject line which workshop you are interested in.
