Kolekcia Lamellae

Štruktúra lupeňov húb predstavuje najefektívnejší spôsob zväčšenia plochy vo vzťahu k hmotnosti, čo zvyšuje potenciál tvorby spór. Kolekcia Lamellae čerpá inšpiráciu práve z týchto lupeňov, ich jedinečnosti, prispôsobivosti a elegancie. Celá kolekcia bola navrhnutá v parametrickom programe Grasshopper, ktorý umožňuje vytvárať organické tvary s nekonečným počtom iterácií. Vďaka tomu sa kolekcia neustále vyvíja. Všetky šperky v kolekcii vychádzajú zo troch definícií. 3D tlač bola použitá na testovanie nositeľnosti prototypov a na vytváranie modelov pre voskové odlievanie. Okrem toho sú všetky šperky dokončené ručne pomocou tradičných zlatníckych techník. Cieľom bolo dosiahnuť prirodzený vzhľad šperkov, hoci boli navrhnuté algoritmickými parametrami, namiesto priameho alebo 3D modelovania.

The structure of mushroom gills represents the most efficient way to increase surface area in relation to weight, thus enhancing the potential for spore production. The Lamellae collection draws inspiration directly from these gills, their uniqueness, adaptability, and elegance. The entire collection was designed using the Grasshopper parametric software, which allows for the creation of organic shapes with an infinite number of iterations. As a result, the collection is in a constant state of development. All the jewellery pieces in the collection stem from three defined patterns. 3D printing was employed to test the wearability of prototypes and to create models for wax casting. Additionally, all the jewellery pieces are meticulously hand-finished using traditional goldsmithing techniques.
