Reconnected
The diploma thesis Reconnected explores the experimental development of regenerative materials. These biodegradable materials are made from bacteria, waste, and plants, and are colored with natural pigments. The goal of the work is to promote awareness of sustainable design that supports social, political, cultural, and environmental transformations. The project provides insight into the research of biocomposites and their applications, symbolizing a commitment to material activism within graphic design disciplines. Design and production are carried out responsibly, using sustainable local resources that minimize environmental impact. The concept presents the process of creating regenerative materials as a medium through which designers can communicate ecological and sustainable approaches.
