Vibrant Matters

Vibrant Matters documents the final works of second-year Painting/Printmaking MFA students at Yale University. The catalog is divided into five sections, each separated by colored pages printed with two layers of white pigment. The cover features screen printing on both sides of fine paper, while the inner pages have an orange gradient. The outer pages are printed with a mix of pearl pigments, colors, and varnishes for a reflective effect, complementing the pale blue of the paper. The cover is also debossed. The book is quite heavy and bound with five screws. The text is printed using UV printing on coated paper, making it stand out on the surface. Both the catalog and the students’ artwork were exhibited at Jeffrey Deitch gallery in New York.
