Educational and Therapeutic Aids for Children with Cortical Visual Impairment
Eva Jenčuráková’s dissertation addresses cortical visual impairment (CVI) in children from the perspective of visual communication. The work provides recommendations for visual communication that cater to these specific needs, as well as for the modification of existing aids and environments for children with CVI. The practical section includes the design of books, three-dimensional aids, animations, and modifications to existing aids and environments. It also offers recommendations for suitable materials and technologies, instructions and templates for aid production, and the website cvipomocky.sk.
