My Own
My Own is an expanded collection of texts and articles by Ema Müllerová, originally written for Czechoslovak Vogue over five years. The book is enriched with scans from Müllerová’s diaries and photos from her archives, capturing her childhood, life in Paris, and professional photos by Jakub Gulyás. Ema’s notes and illustrations in pink marker, reminiscent of her Instagram style, weave through the text, creating a cohesive narrative filled with the emotions and experiences of a young woman navigating self-discovery. The graphic design and typesetting complement the photographic material and handwritten notes, using dark red and pink hues to reflect the playful, feminine, mysterious, and adventurous spirit of Ema’s writing.
