One Day Every Day
The artbook by photographer Zuzana Pustaiová presents an inventive approach to photographic publications. The cover consists of a transparent sleeve adorned with distinctive typographical elements, including the title and imprint, printed in primary printing colors (magenta and yellow). Inside, the book is bound as a ‘non-linear concertina,’ featuring numerous pop-ups that allow for varied sequencing. This design invites readers to interact directly with the work, offering endless possibilities for photo juxtaposition. The book lacks a definitive beginning or end, complementing its conceptual focus on the repetition and interrelationship of everyday life stereotypes. The pages are laminated to evoke the appearance of a photographic C-print/cibachrome, and the unique binding is hand-sewn.
