Only Fischer!

Only Fisher! by Michal Baláž employs distinctive experimental typography where the typeface is central and almost illustrative. Traditional book elements like the imprint and ISBN code are scaled unusually large, creating a sense of displacement and disruption of expected norms. As noted in the annotation of the book itself: The novel is narrated by a cynical narrator who takes almost nothing seriously, and especially not himself. The reader can have exactly the same feeling from the graphic rendering of the book. Despite its unconventional presentation, all elements are purposeful and maintain readability. The book remains a book, but it occasionally teases our attention.
