Panel Housing Estates of Bratislava

Bratislava is a city of panel housing estates. The publication, produced by the civic association Čierne diery, includes 29 graphics and accompanying texts, covering areas from Ružinov to Petržalka and Dúbravka. The illustrations are the work of Jozef Gľaba, while the texts were written by architectural historian Peter Szalay from the Department of Architecture at the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Printed using risograph technology, the book continues the design approach of the earlier work Lost Bratislava. It maintains the same format, layout, and binding style, utilizing the Diery typeface but with variations in geometric and unembellished typefaces that reflect the principles of the panel architecture. The book is hand-bound using the Japanese stab binding method.
