DAS (Driver Assistant System)
The diploma thesis focuses on the comprehensive design of an assistance app for train drivers. It employs Service Design methods, followed by the design of user experience and user interface, and the development of a user environment. The result is a high-standard interface design and prototype for a DAS (Driver Assistance System) application that meets high standards and user needs. The design process involved numerous iterations, research, and testing directly within the driver’s cabins. By enhancing clarity, readability of information, and introducing new functionality, the app supports driver concentration and improves the safety of railway operations.
