DAV. Prose of the Slovak Leftist Avant-Garde
The anthology of prose by members of the DAV movement from 1922 to 1926, edited by Michal Habaj and others, with a striking design and typesetting. Its typographic arrangement imitates avant-garde experimental typography using contemporary typefaces, with notable typefaces including Circular, FK Screamer, GT America, and Suisse Neue. The design is enhanced by the use of red and black colors and a distinctive exclamation mark on the cover. The book was printed on several types of paper, given its content’s fragmented nature. Additionally, it was modified through technical features such as foil embossing and flush-cut hardcover binding.
