Solitaire Lounge Chair and Ottoman
This project focuses on the contemporary use of traditional patchwork quilting techniques in seating design. The central element is a large, pillow-like quilt that forms the dominant part of the armchair and significantly shapes its visual and functional character. The quilt is double-sided and attached with fabric ties, allowing easy handling, maintenance, and visual variation. Thanks to its soft texture and rich surface, the armchair with ottoman creates a cozy place for relaxation, reading, or creative work. The project merges patchwork craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, offering new ways to integrate quilting into contemporary interior design as both a functional and decorative feature.
