The daybed and stool collection addresses the theme of ecological upholstery. Developed as a bachelor’s thesis, it examines the market context of conventional upholstered furniture and its environmental impact. Mechanical joints enable easy transformation, replacement of damaged parts, and subsequent recycling. Designed for small homes, it supports resting, working from home, and occasional sleeping. Natural fillings offer an alternative to synthetic foams, and the zippered covers are removable for easy care. A ben-plywood structure reduces joint count, typically the most failure-prone areas.
