UP AND DOWN collection
The “UP AND DOWN” collection emerged from a reflection on seating for rest. In today’s sedentary lifestyle, I see rest as a means of boosting creativity through movement of the body. These objects are designed so that every act of sitting becomes a singular experience. They link sitting or lying at floor level to higher positions, ultimately reaching a standardized seat height. The work takes its cue from the motto “nothing changes if nothing changes,” leaving it to us to consider how we perceive the need for change.
